The company’s clients include critically acclaimed jazz and world music artists, authors and celebrities, high profile events, and companies positioned at the intersection of entertainment and technology.
Founder Cary Goldberg’s background in public relations is extensive and diverse. In the course of her career, she has conducted public relations campaigns for such rock and pop luminaries as Miami Sound Machine, KISS, and Adam Ant, as well as for books (Pamela Des Barres’ I’m With The Band), theatrical productions, and films (Jody Foster’s directorial debut, Little Man Tate..) and large scale entertainment events (The Seattle International Film Festival and the Maui Music Festival.)
Throughout the course of her more than two-decade long career, Goldberg has represented mandolin great Mike Marshall, legendary composer and arrangers Moacir Santos, Gerald Wilson, and Bill Holman, jazz greats such as Herbie Hancock, Jan Hammer, Jean-Luc Ponty and Chick Corea, cutting edge improvisational jazz artists such as Brad Shepik, Wayne Horvitz, Jerry Granelli, and Nels Cline, and pianist Roger Williams.
Goldberg also orchestrated and executed the entire public relations and marketing effort on behalf of JVC’s proprietary mastering and manufacturing technology and its resultant high-end series of recordings, the Extended Resolution CD (XRCD, and launched the highly acclaimed audiophile line of speakers and receivers from Evett and Shaw.
Beginning in 1998, with the launch of GoMediaPR, Goldberg’s areas of specialization expanded to include music technology projects, collaborating on various projects for Microsoft and clients in the mobile, wireless, and streaming media industries.
